Showreels

My style is a combination of strong narrative with attention to detail, focusing on the individual artist’s strengths, experiences and range/diversity of roles. I also endeavour to tell a story within the showreel itself, using the music as a guide. To ensure that the personality and style of each artist shines through, I encourage the artist to choose their own music for their showreel.

The length and manner of the completed showreels are determined by the client’s specifications (often in collaboration with their agent) but do not exceed five minutes in length. Because I believe it is a collaborative process, the artist is also given the opportunity to view a rough cut online and instruct some changes if they feel they are required.

Prices

The cost is primarily dependent on the duration of the showreel and the total length of time it takes to complete. For the high level of showreel creation, around 50-80 hours are required. Should a showreel require above its allotted length of time then there will be an additional hourly charge of £10. Each artist is also asked to provide their own specific image which is used on the showreel menu and as a cover on the facing of each printed DVD. The client is provided with 5 DVDs free of charge. Additional DVDs are then charged at £2 each. The artist is responsible for postage and packaging costs for any of their own footage on DVD or VHS,  sent to and from me via post.
